Is there still not fix for HDR/Contrast issue on laptops?

I have an Asus G15 and the screen is really dark, even if I turn the brightness all the way to 50 its hard to see. After some research Lenovo Legion laptops are also affected.

Many fixes say to just turn off HDR in windows but my laptop doesn’t even have that.
