I’m not a Inheritor yet . . But I am trying to get to Inheritor before Halo 4 comes out.
I think Bungie messed up with the way people get Armor pieces in Reach, from Mythic to Inheritor there isn’t any new Armor pieces.
And once people get to Inheritor they get the Haunted Helmet, but from what I know Inheritors only get the Spartan Haunted Helmet . . I don’t know if Inheritors get the Elites Haunted Helmet(I don’t want to know, I’ll find out when I get to Inheritor).
Is 343 going to include something special for Inheritors ?
ps I know 343 doesn’t have to do such a thing, this is just a question I have been wondering about.
If I remember correctly 343 said they wanted to put the GRD helmet in the Anniversary map pack, but it wasn’t possible to do so at the time, could 343 have made the GRD helmet the Recon of Halo 4 ?

Agreed. Getting to that insane rank is not really realistic for me and most people who play Halo. However, getting my Milestone rank up has been fun and not that difficult!

It’s not that getting to Inheritor is a challenge, it’s just that it’s tedious and boring.
I’d rather get stuff for my past Halo achievements like the waypoint armor Reach has. Not for my past ranks. I stopped caring about my rank in Reach after I hit General. And I only got my Xbox at the beginning of Summer 2010 so I’m only a leiutenant in Halo 3. Never got to play Halo 2 online
Elites get nothing from Inheritor; Spartans only get the Haunted Helmet once you reached that rank. I agree that it killed Reach for me to not have anything to look forward to past Noble ;/
The mysterious helmet (GRD) was as you know, put into the Anniversary maps as an Easter Egg (those funny dolls). However, it was a reference to the fact that 343 wanted to put new armor in (as opposed to just one ugly, unfinished helmet by itself) for CE:A/Reach but could not do so because of deadlines and resources.
As for having a reward for it in Halo 4? I don’t really mind nor care since something of that nature would be minor and non-gamebreaking. I will probably not hit Inheritor because 1. The grind is painful and not exciting to sit through and 2. Halo 4 (time to finally put Reach behind me lol).

That’s sad that we can’t have the Haunted Helmet for the space dinosaurs =(
