only a couple? there was talks of 23 maps a few months ago

I vaguely remember that. Unfortunately as a live-service game they’ll probably only give a couple of maps here and there to spread out the content drip with as little extra effort as possible. It’d be awesome if we had 23 maps though.

maybe some of the maps give away story spoilers so they getting released on the 8th

TBF I already like these maps way more than 5’s. I say let them put out more maps at their pace, at least these ones dont feel -Yoink!- (especially since BTB actually has maps from the ground up this time.)

Unless they lied in the official news post here on the site about this being ALL the maps and gametypes that will be in the official launch this is indeed all that we will have until after launch.
