Is there going to be original slayer!?

I haven’t found any info about it. Everyone is excited about Slayer Pro and Infinity Slayer but where is the original!? Y know that one with all the AAs, loadouts, upgrades but with no personal ordinance drops?

I really like this new Infinity Slayer but I feel that there might be too much power weapons on the map at the same time because everyone can call personal ordinance drop to get one + there are some on the map already.

And I don’t want to play Slayer Pro because I really think that AAs/upgrades are nice and make the gameplay much more interesting.

So… Is there going to be original Slayer?

there is no such thing as original in halo 4, all “new”, “different”, “new experience”.

Different is good, even if it is bad, if it is bad just make it new and it will be good. how 343i thinks

Pretty much. Just with a few minor things.

They haven’t confirmed a “slayer classic” game mode yet but have said about slayer pro which is much more like halo classic style and all the details are in this week bulletin.

The original Slayer didn’t have AAs, loadouts, or upgrades.

It has been confirmed that slayer pro is being launched on release and has no AA or ordnance drops.

EDIT: You can choose from BR, DMR and AR. Also everything is faster (movement speed, reload speed, weapon switch, etc.) and you get the resupply package so you pick up grenades.

EDIT 2: There is still the map ordnance but they are on timers like they were on halo 3/reach and are always the same weapon.

Slayer Pro is what you’re looking for. You can however choose between an Assault Rifle, Battle Rifle, or DMR off-spawn.

Original slayer had no AAs. Slayer pro would be the closest approximation to original slayer.
