Is there going to be living dead on halo 4

Is the game mode living dead going to be on halo 4?

Most likely there will be. It was one of the most popular playlist on Reach.

I appreciated it more when it was a weekend double exp playlist (in H3). Fun to mess around with nonetheless.

I hope so. Living Dead is pretty fun… or at least it was in Halo 3. Reach Infection, like every other aspect of the game, was terrible in comparison to its Halo 3 counterpart.

I at least hope that the gametype is made available for customs.

So far the developer created “Infection” variants have all been horrible broken. There’s more padding in those games than in the bra of a -Yoink!- trying to pretend she has DDs using a box of Kleenex. So I could care less if it’s included in MMing or not.

What I really want is for the Infection playlist to be community run.

How eloquent of you.

I agree, Reach’s default Infection gametypes were awful. Nothing worked. I tried to remake a boss battle gametype I had in Halo 3, which already inconvenienced by the lack of Chopper, was further ruined by the fact that apparently number of lives meant nothing and the round refused to end.

I’d be surprised if there wasn’t.

Speaking of which, I thought heard something about an overview about the starting playlists for Halo 4?

Also since we can’t be elites anymore what are they going to replace invasion with?

I try.

H3 wasn’t any better.

Me: What do you guys want to play?
Everyone Else: BRAINS!
Me: Okay… what map?
Everyone Else: GHOST TOWN!
Me: Alright.

Game starts. I’m made a Zombie.

Me: Alright where is everyon… Nevermind. Never–Yoink!-ing-mind. You’re all camping on top of that god forsaken pipe.
Everyone Else: LIKE A BOSS!

Then I’m headshot from across the map by the Magnum.

And let’s not even talk about Creeping Death, Creeping Rockets or Speed Demons.

im pretty sure it will be returning

I hope so. It’s one of the top playlists in Reach and I play it everyday.

I suppose I had a better Halo 3 Living Dead experience than you then. :stuck_out_tongue:

Every game was just some variation of that.

It was also literally possible to spawn trap the Zombies with ease in Speed Demons on Zombies on Ice.

They had a Hog to do it in too. Once they got set up one player could literally hold down the trigger and get kills as you spawned into the bullets. No spawn protection, nothing. Just spawn, die when the one bullet from the Hog that hits you, kills you.

Don’t you remember standard Infection (when the Zombies had shields) on Rat’s Nest? That was amazing!

That was Save One Bullet. Probably the most balanced Infection gametype I played. Shotgun still dominated at CQC because of the attack delay in lunging with the Sword.

And what I remember about Rat’s Nest is people camping on top of the ventilation pipes overrunning the entire map. Those campers were bad. And then some ingenious -Yoinks!- found out you could go from there to the lights hanging from the ceiling. Those campers were impossible to kill.

That’s what I remember.

Also: As a child, someone kicked my dog and pissed in my Cheerios.

First off: Flood Combat Forms when infected in Infection!

now, OT: it will exist. it has too. it’s the most played gametype since Halo 2, and is one of the most played playlists since Halo 3. to get rid of it would hurt a large population of Halo.

Most likely, living dead is a very popular playlist to rack up a great k/d without any bigger requirements, know where to camp and you’re set :stuck_out_tongue:
I just hope for a living dead that won’t be a zombie killing feast, one where the “humans” have missions/objectives to prevent them from camping, something to make it more then just the “cheap kills playlist”.

> something to make it more then just the “cheap kills playlist”.

That title now and forever belongs to Grifball.

Probably. Who knows, it may disappear like Action Sack for certain periods of time, but considering how it is standing with Reach, it’s highly probable it will be making a return.

That’s terrible. :stuck_out_tongue:

I must confess, I was always quite the bat, meaning I always stood on those lights. :stuck_out_tongue:
