Can anyone anwser the question will halo 4 have a ny sort of ranking system. Everyone complains about boosters in the 1 through 50 in halo 3. However, i got my fifty in dubs and slayer and a fourty eight in mlg. I can honestly say the small precentage of that climb was the cheaters. I had some of the greatest of my halo career at those high levels. I have played every halo and truly enjoyed working for that number. Reach and the true skill was a huge disappointment completely inaccurate with teammates wild throwing grenades killing you in the process for there kd.

Omg. No more competitive halo online. Way to go. This is horrible news i have waited for this game since the release of reach. What is the incentive to play multiplayer for laughs. Horrrible news.
Reach main flaw was the lack of working true skill, hidden or visible doesn’t matter as long as it works. Then again search times were very bad in Halo 3, and to fix that Bungie decided to scrap true skill instead. Adding Dedicated servers would have made the matches after, better, less laggy and let true skill work better then ever, but would also have cost a bit more.
Well, now 343i are controlling thing but it still seems like a slow, laggy and inaccurate p2p is better then a good but more expensive dedicated server solution, at least for Halo 4. Hence you can expect something like Halo 3 or Reach when it comes to MM, no better at least. As for rank, we know there will be a reach style “progression system” where you gain points by winning and then use them to unlock stuff, and we know there is no 1-50. What we don’t know is if there will be any “true skill” ranks, or even Arena.

Great. I think it is funny how a majority of confirmed information is horrible and anything as far as good news is concerned… not confirmed.

There will be one but as of this moment we have no info on What kind of system HALO 4 will be using …
Im thinking E3 ( this weekend I think ) should show us a ton of hopefully great info
