I have not heard much about this and was curious if anyone knows if there will be a beta?

Sorry dude, the game’s done. It went Gold last week, it’s off to be check (Certified) and printed on to millions of disks.

(Public beta’s suck anyway)

Nope, this has been confirmed since about when Halo 4 was announced.

It was confirmed there would be no beta a very long time ago.

And the game is gold, no more beta time anyway.
