No, personally I haven’t however the site in which you were getting paranoid off of is probably telling the truth. However, I would say it’s a safe bet to assume few people actually have those mod’s, and the ones that do are most likely playing safe by using them sparingly and not over abusing them other wise there would be threads on here from people complaining about it.
Wouldn’t surprise me at all. There’s always someone looking to gain an upper hand by moding and manipulating the system. If you catch it record it and report it. Game Dvr is a good tool for catching the punks in the act. The 343 can ban hammer the hell outta them.
Doubt it, you can’t even hack an Xbox one - at least to my knowledge.

I believe it’s just a lag-delay that Halo 5 is very good at hiding.

…best advice is to NOT read stuff like that - thing is, once you do read it, your mind starts to play tricks on you, as in - every so-called ‘wtf moment’ after you’ve taught your mind there are cheaters (as that’s what you do after you by reading an article about, say, people using aimbots), it’ll try to put that information to good use by telling you “Hey, it MUST have been a cheater!” every time it’s not able to figure out what happened

If theater mode is accurate than I believe there is aimbot. I have watched some players warzone matches to see some BS deaths or see why my teammate outplayed me. Last time I watched the guy, I came upon a player who’s aim was no where near on target and still getting perfect kills. I don’t know if theater is accurate. It’s accurate from my perspective, but I don’t know how the theater servers work.

I wouldn’t doubt it. Halo 3 was in a very good state and only JTAGs could mod recon armor or aimbots. There were only a handful of people who even knew how to do it despite having a JTAG and they would usually get banned almost immediately. There was a time period where a screenshot could crash your xbox meaning players would send that to the enemy team to view on their fileshare before the match to get them to DNF. Those were EXTREEMELY RARE cases and I played like 20,000 matches so that’s the only reason I am aware of those things. I actually never even played against an aimbot, but I saw theater films of it. That being said, after 343i took control of the franchise, Halo 3 modders exploited the EXP system which is entirely based on win loss. I saw many players with modded EXP, and I don’t think it would be that hard to mod Win/Loss in Halo 5 and go undetected.

Yes, but it was like his redicule would move in a way like it looked like he was controlling it and the enemy would be moving the opposite direction or way out of target. Bam perfect kill. In a couple cases it didn’t move at all, but the enemy was moving and then his ridicule would move after getting the kill. It just seemed weird. I almost wonder if lag comp contributes to some of this and players are getting unfair hit detection (both ways). It happened in MW3 and was a huge reason I stopped playing that game.

I have not heard about any xbox one mods or people cracking the ms singed codes.
I’m pretty certain at this stage you can not alter any xbox one games and run them on a xbox one like a aim bot.
my guess is there just good players. theater will show alot of bs as theater replays are from what the server see’s, not what ur xbox see’s the game doing or the other players. so the other player, the server, and yourself will all be seeing slightly different things / timings due to latency

Yeah, I’m sure there could be modders or whatever online. Though, I’m not so sure if there’s such a saturation of them as you might think. I’ve gotten shots that I was surprised to have gotten. There’s just a lot more aim assist or bullet magnetism in this game I’ve found, and if I’m wrong I’d be very, very surprised.

Hi guys, i have to agree with General Yums, i am not the best player but i have had some crazy shots, specially with the BR and Sniper that i honestly couldn’t believe i got. And i kept thinking “Aw crap, now they are gonna think i am cheating” (all this is in Warzone by the way) but i have also had some weird things happen to me too. i was once shot with a single round from a magnum just as i spawned and it was instant death… kinda pissed me off too.
