Is there any way to post a picture in a post?

I want to post a Halo-related picture on a post and propose a question about it to this fine community here. How would I go about doing that? I have the picture saved on my computer, and I also have a link to it. Is there any way I can actually display the picture in the thread? Thanks guys

The option to add images directly is exclusive to Admins only, it would be abused badly otherwise.
