Is there any special helmets in halo 5

i mean like helmets or amours you unlock through achievements, like halo 3

Not many, unfortunately, since MS and 343i wanted to capitalize on addictive tendencies through lootboxes. Off the top of my head, I believe there are only 4 you can get right now by playing the game.

  1. Achilles by joining a Spartan company and getting the company’s kill commendations to level 5.

  2. Helioskrill by unlocking the “Legend” achievement in MCC. This set can also be found in REQ packs though.

  3. Timmy by playing 50 hours of custom games. You can idle these solo though.

  4. Nightfall by watching the Nightfall series. Not sure which specific episodes though.

Olive used to be another one you could acquire by having one of your Forge maps make it into matchmaking. Very cool since this was reminiscent of Recon from H3. But, since H5 is quite old now and doesn’t receive such updates, I don’t believe it’s possible to get Olive anymore. I could be mistaken about that though.

Yeah, unless playlist sustaining reverts back to actively introducing new playlists, maps, etc. it’s unlikely that anyone can earn the Olive helmet anymore. But, even then you’d have to be a pretty damn good Forger. Someone who’s willing to work with top forgers of ForgeHub.com and somewhat prominent members of the Halo custom community to help polish the map for MMing and to increase the odds of it getting noticed by the developers for potential inclusion in H5 MMing.
