Call me a straightforward thinker here, but is there any reason why the campaign vehicles such as the forklift, transport hog, cart, grenade launcher falcon, fuel rod shade and phantom couldn’t be included in the CEA maps? All of these vehicles are already fully coded and rendered into the game and fully drivable. Frankly I don’t get why the weren’t included in previous DLCs such as tempest and breakpoint after the huge demand for them. The only reason I can think of is that they aren’t coded into multiplayer and some sort of problem arises when they are used in competitive but I find that unlikely. I really hope these are included for CEA maps. If the rumors of hang em high just bieng a larger foundry are true I would love to see a drivable forklift on it. Do you want these to be included? And if no why not?
They should at least be in the Firefight map.
Here are some problems with you idea
- To overpowered (sorry but its true =( )
- Pollygon budget (The maps are already going to have large forge pallets and adding more would cause frame rate issues)
- Space (The maps would be to small for the falcon and phantom)
- Its pointless (I could see some use in custom games but not for matchmaking mostly because of reasons 1 and 3)
nothing wrong with forklift, nothing ever…
The Grenade Launcher Falcon and Fuel Rod Shade would be stupidly overpowered. The Phantom wasn’t even close to being finished. The forklift is just useless, since it can’t even go fast enough to splatter, and has no weapon. Civilian vehicles would just be redundant, since the Warthog/Mongoose do almost the same thing as them.
There is no legitimate or good reason why they weren’t available in Forge.
They’d be great for aimless fun.

I gave legitimate answers, no?
i wish 343 would add a lot of veicles to forge
like pelicans and stuff
lotza fun

No, you didn’t. Nothing can be overpowered or redundant in Custom Games.
> They’d be great for aimless fun.
That is a legitimate answer. Gaming is all about aimless fun; it’s not like you’re trying to save the world by sitting in front of your television.

How could it not? There is no legitimate reason to have them, aside from them being pointless additions.
You really must be joking when you say something couldn’t be redundant or overpowered. How does it being a custom game excuse them?

What is the point in having anything, then? I wouldn’t have fun with Fuel Rod Turrets and Falcons raining explosives on me. I play Halo as a shooter, because that’s what it is.

Custom Games are exactly that; custom games. Games that you play with your friends, with custom options. They’re for ridiculous fun. What makes it more fun than a random Forklift and a super overpowered Fuel Rod Shade? Customs aren’t all about competition, you know. Sometimes you just have to have some of that mindless fun.

I don’t like the mindless fun, I like the shooting aspect. That is why I play Halo, and not Warioware. The Forklift is 100% useless, it has no point, even in campaign.
I play customs as a way to play custom maps, and I really hate it when the person who gets leader is 9 and only wants to play Infection or Minigames. Having a stupidly overpowered turret that is almost impossible to destroy would ruin the game for me.
The falcon would have no issue I think. Sandbox has both Hornets, so Forgeworld could possibly have all 3 falcons, [MM falcon, transport-machine gun alcon, transport-grenade launcher falcon]

You’re saying that like you’d be somehow forced into playing with them. You wouldn’t. This is custom games. Completely optional.

This.

1.OP is irrelevant The Gauss warthog is the most OP vehicle and isn’t on any matchmaking maps but still in forge.
It’s in forge because it can be used in mini games and specifically built maps that can balance a gauss warthogs ability’s.
2.Maybe so but I’m sure they could remove some stuff to allow new vehicles or something.
3.Again Irrelevant can’t think of one off the top of my head but I know there are vehicles small-medium nonforgeworld maps where they really never get used because the map is to small.
4.Again irrelevant and false, You even say it can be used in custom games which is reason enough to be put in. Seriously think how many items in every map including Forgeworld that don’t get used in matchmaking.
I like vehicles the more the merryier imo but I don’t expect these changes to happen though just your points besides 2 are irrelevant.

I’m not even going to name all the amazing possibilities you can have with these extra vehciles. Instead, I’m just going to say how freakin awesome it would be to have a map where you need to get to a safe zone, on a phantom. Imagine that? Everyone, guns blazing, with falcons trying to shoot you down with grenades, and fuel rod shade turrets trying to shoot you down, and making a grumpy old man chasing you with his forklift.
Or maybe it could be like the Windward mission in ODST, with guns blazing while some opponents try getting into your base using phantoms. I like that.
Phantom flies through -Yoinking!- buildings on NA, followed by autokilling you. Or if it’s a landing pad, it just goes straight through. Pelican disappears if you get out. So no explosion animation. Also you are the pelican/phantom, so pelican when goes into killzone just drops.
I would love to see the mongoose sneak into CEA. Probably not going to happen but I can dream.
