Has 343I suggested this is even remotely possible? I would enjoy this game so much more if I were just able to play it with my roommates…

No. Frank, O Conner announced in a interview a while ago that they couldn’t implement splitscreen into Halo 5 but he also mentioned that if there was enough community support, they might add it in Halo 6.

Unfortunately, we’ve been given no indication that it’s possible. And while 343 has claimed that about many things, such as theater in Halo 4 (which a kid with a jtag’d 360 managed to do for them), I’m inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one. The xbone’s hardware is just that bad.

Yay we have to wait another 3 years😡. Bungie wouldn’t have made a mistake this bad and if they did they would do everything they could to fix it. Microsoft should give the rights to bungie. 343 is full of idiots.

I bet they are just to lazy to do it. If bungie made this instead of 343 it wouldn’t have happened.

Lmfao Bungie wouldn’t make a mistake like this? sorry but Pmsl to that one. It is a big mistake though them not including it for me i couldn’t care i only play online and with friends so Coop is no good but i know it was a major disappointment to loads.
It can’t be patched in due to the physics leeching of of the 60 fps, if it drops things get wonky. That’s what I heard, but it makes sense. They better have all the missing stuff in Halo 6 or it’s gonna die in a few weeks.
