Is there an off button to stop seeing cat ears?

Be a man and deal with it you cry baby.

Could you explain what about this cosmetic led you to this take?

I’ve seen a few differing points and honestly just want to know more about what people think about it.

No arguments from me, but maybe a little dialogue to follow. I’m more interested in understanding.

As cringey and pathetic as they are I must admit I really enjoy calling out ‘Kitty Cat is one on os’ etc. Gives me and my mates a little chuckle.

Dude it’s just starting.
Theres gonna be dancing Spartans with cat ears
Waaaaayyy back in the olden days when being good at Halo could get you laid
Halo was an amalgamation. Gritty, Mature, intense.
Now it has become something else
Nay…Dare I say it
Gonna say it
An accurate reflection of the playerbase.
Cheap quick fix
Dang it, another wave of covid, back to Skyrim

Same here. There’s nothing wrong in preferring a less silly aesthetic, or being bored by every MP game turning into a cartoon with dancing cat-eared flamingos all over the place. Give me a toggle for cosmetics, let others have their fun, but let me have mine.

Wanna see a dead cat?

halo infinite needs emotes and dances next that would be so cool maybe even game modes where you can build things with pickups on the map that’s a great idea 343 plz do this if u read

Maybe 343 could add a “canon” toggle, so only the canon armours appear for players. Similar to what they did in MCC.

i would welcome a switch like that for cosmetics in general, but at the same time i know they will never ever (ever, ever, ever, …) release a feature like that.

it directly negatively impacts microtransaction sales. just as simple as that.

i’d just recommend getting used to seeing stuff like it, there is literally nothing that will be done about it

I hope the customization in Halo doesn’t become a Fortnite/CoD like gimmick. Cat ears, -Yoink!- (edit. Wut, I cannot describe the bag you put in your tea???) and bacon charms are pushing boundaries already.

People playing CoD already stated that they’re really immersed in fighting on the battlefield along other soldiers and then all of a sudden someone dressed as Batman/The Joker/Rambo/John McClane comes along and the feeling is gone.

Cat Ears attachment is not a good direction the game is going i.m.o. But it probably made 343i millions, so they won’t stop there.

Like you did with his opinion?

I’m stingy with DLC but I’d pay for it in a heartbeat.

Yes it’s called ‘‘quit game’’

Halo Infinite is obviously not for you

They look great on Soldier and ISR as well

Imagine a real life solder with cat ears, he’d be taken the piss out off for years :joy::joy::joy:

I guess you don’t know much about military culture then, soldiers are famos/infamous? for taking the piss and generally joking about a lot of stuff.

100% if a soldier had cat ears people would laugh with them and the only people laughing at him would be people outside of the army.
Soldiers thinks it’s cringe, therefore it’s funny, therefore someone will wear it and they’re laughing about it.
Ever wonder why so many soldiers get stupid nicknames? That’s right, they’re joking around.

I think you misunderstood my sentance

a soldier wearing cat ears is a thousand times more probable than a soldier wearing a pink helmet

maybe I did then I’m just used with people complaining about this insignificant thing

I don’t blame you tbf, each to there own as I say, it’s just funny to look at :joy::joy:
