Just need help lately because i can’t even play a proper match because of how bad the lag is. I keep dying while being shot even though i’m in cover and there’s no way they can shoot me on any angle, and the most frustrating one is the laggy hit detection. The other game in FFA it took 8 shots to perfect kill with the magnum. Is it because i live in Australia and have Australian internet and/or is this happening to others around the world?
Im in the US and have quit playing until this new update comes out. The lag is just to much and I have to enjoy the game in order to play it. Maybe this new update will help you as well. Matchmaking Preference is what you want to keep an eye on… Im not totally impressed with how they have it laid out but we will see how it performs in the next update.

Yeah, was expecting some like if you’ve played bf4. You select your game mode and server preferences. That way your never in a bad server. This update is basically stay the same, wait longer or have worse games.
It’s happening everywhere… Since the last update and region lock taken off it jacked everything up. Screen freeze, hit detection, unload a smg clip in someone’s back and they turn around and kill you… etc. I’m also in the US.
They took region lock off because some people complained that they couldn’t find matches. Problem is they took it off on ALL playlists.
In the new update coming out next week they’re releasing a fix, you can choose your ‘matchmaking preferences’. If you set it to ‘focussed’ it will prioritise finding similarly skilled players and local servers, so this should fix our Aussie lag problems, hopefully.

I hope it performs better. It was working beautifully within the first months the game came out but now it’s just awful.
I hope they fix it in the next update. Making Arena unplayable.

I’m also hoping these new fixes at least make the game more playable. Also, 2 more controller tweaks for horizontal and verticle. I guess well see how it goes after the update drops this month.

That’s exactly right… the network engineers had to know exactly what would happen when they took region lock off. They should have come with an obvious solution like their finally doing now. Ridiculous!
