Is there a way to back out of lobby?

I find myself stuck in a lobby that won’t fill up frequently. Is there any way to back out without having to restart the entire game?

Start an XBL party → Leave → Multiplayer

Thanks man!! this method actually works!! But I hope 343 will let you back out of a lobby without the hassle when the full game releases.
