Is there a quit penalty? if not, score is off

I know its not cool, but need to know these things in advance. Don’t know why the game keeps players completely in the dark

Quit a match on purpose: my deaths went from 1417 to 1426 - 9 point penalty seems odd

Any clarification?

Thanks

Doubt it’s a penalty with your deaths- Waypoint is just snail-slow sometimes when updating your stats.

Thanks, but I am talking the in game counter - I died 7 times in that last match, yet gave me 9

Doesn’t seem like a case of slow, cause it updated instantly

problem is my kill/death ration is now in the gutter

Less than a week ago I had 80 more detahs than kills, now I am almost double that

I’ve also caught the game not accurately counting my kills - usually it gives me one more than I should have, ironically

there is no quitting penalty as far as i know.

If you destroyed a vehicle with someone in it, the vehicle counts as a kill.

Makes sense, so would the in game match score not reflect that, if I died in a vehicle?

So, a final game tally says I killed 3 people, died 7 times, yet the overall war record shows i was given a ‘death’ count of 9 (not 7)

So if I died twice in a vehicle, why would that not reflect within the game final score? And why only the war record?

I think the incorrect count is also to do with latency too actually- I’ve had a few games were my kills have not been recorded or I’ve been shown to have less /more deaths than I was sure of. I doubt it’s a quitting penalty of sorts. If a host change occurs I think the in-game stats can have a heart-attack transferring over- but if no host changes occur I’d still say it has to do with a connection issue to the host and their recorded stats.

Thanks for that; jesus, that sucks. And I get a least three matches where the game has to find a new host

And keep in mind all, i purposely quit that last match where I self-counted 7 deaths (of mine), yet my SR war record counted 9 deaths, so even if there is no penalty for quitting, its still screwing up my tallies - clearly I am not alone

So, I can’t cound on my KD/R being truly accurate? Not that I’m a kick -Yoink- player, but damn Halo 4, don’t make me crappier than I am

343, please fix Halo 4 issues - there are many. Chop Chop

Guilt.
