My old spartan company said that 343 is releasing a new helmet and armor this month…is it true or not?
More likely not… It was pretty much said that H5 is getting no new content outside of playlist and weapon tweeks. Although we might, a very slim change, get something in November when the 4k patch for H5 is supposed to drop. Also I wouldn’t even bet that the patch releases on time so it maybe late November if not December or even January.
If we do, it better be a new Seeker variant…

I’ve literally heard nothing about that, as far I can remember 343i aren’t planning any new REQ related items. The main focus seems to be the Xbox One X update for H5 is due later through the year, which should be focused mainly on graphics.

The thing that’s intriguing me is the “odds and ends” that ske7ch referred to recently.
I know that it’d be naive to expect new content, I’m just curious as to

I just hope its the Prefect armor or at least a forerunner armor and no not the Fotus armor its just the helmet that resembles a knight.

I like to think that both fotus and prefect are the first generation of hybrid UNSC and Forunner armor.

Odst’s have been kinda replaced by Spartans IV’s but I still think they are in use. After all Spartans IV’s were hand picked. Not sign up. Buck choose to become a Spartan IV the second time. If the ODST’S did get replaced then the ones that weren’t able to go into Spartan IV probably would have to become standard Marines. We still have drop pods.

No, ODSTs still exist. A select handful have been recruited into the Spartan-IV program, but the several thousand that remain continue to serve in various Orbital Drop Shock Troop divisions.

The Monitors aren’t 343 employees. However, as 343’s current community manager, Ske7ch is a 343 employee.
Probably not, 343 said there probably won’t much content coming for H5. If they did, my vote is for the H3 Rogue helmet!
I won’t get my hopes up but I’d love just one more send off armor and weapon skins
