Last time it was grunt kills, that one doesnt work anymore so did it get replaced?
There has been no announcement, so I believe there isn’t one.

Custom Challenge of the Week
The Needler Rifle is an extremely satisfying weapon to wield while traversing the virtual battlefield. There’s just something inherently rewarding about shooting explosive pink shards directly into your enemy’s head. That’s why kills attained with this particular weapon will be rewarded with a higher than average payout for the next several days.
So, from now until next Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, setting up a Custom Challenge with the Needler Rifle as the type of weapon will result in ten times the usual multiplier. Please note this only applies to Campaign and Custom games (including Custom Firefight). It’s also worth noting that despite the rumor that one is sufficient, I recommend going for as many as your multi-fingered appendages can handle.

In custom, 47 needle rifle kills will get you the maximum of 2000 CRs.
In campaign, 118 needle rifle kills will get you the maximum of 5000 CRs.

I would imagine you could set up “no shields”, and get 47 headshots on your guest pretty quick. But 2k isn’t squat.

If you have a long night of solace ahead of you, you’re in luck, because for the next several days, we’re rewarding kills achieved with the YSS-1000 with a higher than average payout. Forum-goer Schatten Blitze has decided it’s time to warm up the engine on your favorite barrel-rolling starfighter, often referred to as the Sabre.
From now until next Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, setting up a Custom Challenge with the Sabre—YSS-1000—as the type of weapon will result in ten times the usual multiplier. This is a Campaign-only challenge, and I encourage you to accept it. If you like extra credits jingling in your virtual pocket, that is.

Double Super Jackpot Weekend
Last weekend we featured a Super Jackpot in two different playlists. In honor of its double-tacular awesomeness, we have decided to continue the festivities this weekend as well. So, starting on Friday and ending on Sunday, hopping into Team Objective and Super Slayer will present you with the chance of receiving a cool 20,000-credit bonus. What does it mean exactly? Well, we’ll leave the deciphering to you.

That is probably more time than it is worth. But it’s a nice bonus if you are actually playing the level.

Got to agree with you Doc, more time than worth. Unless like you say, one is doing the level or one wants to work on the “kill a vehicle” and “kill with a vehicle” commendations.

5000 is the max cR you can get with campaign custom challenges. And I personally really like this challenge, gives me an excuse to fly around in the Sabre some more

5000 is the max in Campaign, 10000 in Firefight and I think 2000 in custom.
I went from General (base grade) to General Grade 4 in the week that the grunt one was up, it was actually up for almost two weeks. That was the only real credit -Yoink!- that I have done, besides a trial on the ONI farming. I maxed a few commendations and then felt like a complete -Yoink!- doing it any further.
