Cause that just aint Halo…
sprint…debatable
while with perks…you don’t even know WHAT THE HELL they are yet, so don’t jump to conclusions
they could be a new type of gametype for all we know (it probably isn’t)
just because the word “perk” is in CoD, doesn’t mean that IT IS CoD
Well, switching over to CoD now. -Yoink- you all!!

No. Perks, in any form, are not Halo. If I start out differently than you, there’s a problem. This is not debatable. Period. Last time I checked, Halo is about starting off as EQUALS and coming out on top only through teamwork and skill. The team that played better should always win, no matter what. When random factors are thrown into play, the odds of that happening decrease drastically.
I’ll have to hear more from them on what this perks business is all about. But sprint? Keep that -Yoink-.
Yeah, it’s called custom settings. My guess is after seeing success with the TU tweaks in Reach, they’d offer both a more faithful and more innovative style of play in its matchmaking playlist selection.
You guys have no -Yoinking!- clue what 343 are doing yet so stop jumping to conclusions. No one used the word “Perks” from 343, just the -Yoink- journalists trying to get more views.
Sprint isn’t a massive problem in my opinion, they should make it so when you get shot you stop sprinting I think, that way noobs can’t get away if they put themselves in a bad position.

Halo 3 man, go play it.

Kinda contradicted yourself there a little. No one in ANY Halo starts out the same. Teams and skill see to that. Sure, you start out with the same gear and guns, but a full team against randoms isn’t equal. Someone who prefers the DMR over the AR (as an example) isn’t equal in skill. Even in Halo Reach, the more skilled players won. To say they didn’t isn’t being truthful.
doubt it
Dont buy it end of story you win you will not get both! Problem solved!
You guys should keep the complaining to a minimum, they may read everything that you hate and put it in the game. You come off as children who never had ice cream, then you have ice cream, and realize that its the best -Yoink- ever!

What if everyone begins with Sprint?
I cant believe the number of new people to the halo games trying to mess with the core principles of the game. You start out with the same weapon in halo, simple as that. For all you people saying “go play halo 3”, why don’t you go play COD so you can have your sprint and loadouts. You people are turning halo into the same freaking shooter as every other one. Halo 1,2, and 3 were great because they were different. No sprint, no AA’s, just skill. Please don’t say that you have been playing since Halo 1 because you and I know that you started with Halo reach
