Invited my pal for this weekend, but for some strange reason Halo hasn’t taken over his whole life, weird right? So he’ll get slaughtered in PVP. Anyone know if 2 player training mode was possible last weekend? I wanna ease him into the sandbox etc before pvp.

Tonight only offline play will be available, but tomorrow you may be able to play with him in a custom lobby yes. We do not know all the details of this upcoming flight. You also no longer need to invite a friend since the beta has been converted to an open beta which does not require you to invite friends or hope they get selected, you may just simply play with them in this next online flight on Friday Oct 1st!

Yeah but that will only be active simultaneously as the PVP right? I really don’t wanna miss out on the pvp lol. But that is a potential option yeah.
Also, wait hang on, he doesn’t even need the invite? Where is the information/instructions for this?
