Its rate of fire is the same as a scorpion. Its very mobile for a tank, and the boost is great for repositioning and splattering would be hijackers.
The plasma mortar is what it is, its a massive ball of plasma and its projectile speed is fine as it is. Being a mortar allows it to do arc attacks which a scorpion can’t do.
If your talking about it in warzone, then maybe, Unless it’s the Ultra, but even then… but I hardly play that mess of a game mode anymore. I’m 100% convenienced that majority of people only play it because it’s so easy to get a lot of EXP and REQ points quickly. Otherwise I don’t think it’d be that popular to be honest.
In Arena play, like in BTB, I find the wraith to be pretty good.

I am quite positive that a lot play WZ simply because it is a fun and chaotic mode.
On topic though. I don’t go with either scorpions nor wraits tbh. Too easy to destroy them. I much rather go with supermobile vehicles for efficient hit and run tactics.
In Warzone FF, the wraith is a very powerful machine when fighting bosses with large health pools like the warden, hunters, knights, and other wraiths. It can also be useful when fighting ghosts, the ability to one shot ghosts in Warzone FF makes it easy.

not at all mate, remember, amongst tanks, the scorpion is fast moving higher damaging rojectiles,
but he strength of a wraith is the ability to fire from cover as it fires MORTAR shots. also, do not forget the great boost ability, making it easier to escape from boarders or give them a death as a reward for their attempt to board u

Stay back. Use the mortar at range or to cover base openings. Think of yourself as a mobile artillery cannon. Keep your thrust in reserve to deal with the idiots who try to board you from the front. You can spin at a reasonable pace and it is far more maneuverable than a scorpion, use that to your advantage. They are great for taking out hunters. The sword is a bit tougher than base model. The Ultra has a much better mortar and is tougher still. The temple is basically a tougher sword with more maneuverability.

Rather than hate on your dislike for the Wraith, lets focus on how to improve your outlook on them. I used dislike it, but after playing a lot of WZ and getting more time in the vehicle have come to really like it.
Splatters: Unlike tanks, you can at least defend yourself from boarders. Boosting into enemies or away from them (if they’re coming from behind) is a major plus for the Wraith. It’s an easy kill, enough said. - Plasma mortar: Yea, it’s not a precision weapon like the Scorpion, but it’s really effective at keeping enemy teams pinned to one area (armory/base) in WZ. There’s always that brave soul dashing out the door who ends up being obliterated from your blast lol. - Other tips: Be creative! I’ve destroyed smaller, more agile vehicles like Ghosts with a Wraith. I’ve rammed and pinned them to walls/rocks and used the plasma blast to take them out.

I was just about to say this. In my experience, it is hands-down the most useful req for WZFF. Also for later rounds especially the Swarmlords in the back of the base.

I don’t doubt that, but as I say, I think majority play Because it’s so easy to farm EXP/REQ points. Any time there would be a “special” pack for 80,000 or 100,000 REQ points etc, if I had a dollar every time I heard someone say “well time to farm Warzone to get req points because it’s the quickest way to get them” I’d be rich, as the saying goes.
Not saying people don’t like it or have fun, I’m saying I think a lot of people play it just for those reasons. If say 4-4 or BTB or whatever, offer similar to what Warzone does in EXP/REQ points, I think more people would be playing those playlists instead.
