Is the Wasp to weak?

The wasp seems a little to weak. I understand it’s a lvl 3 req but as a flying vehicle it tends to attract enemy attention and focused fire. Under focused fire it can be destroyed within seconds. It just seems crazy weak I used it on big team battle and it goes down so quick that I end up jumping out of it seconds after hoping in. Any opinions?

I kinda think if it was any stronger people would throw a fit. Especially since it’s new and everyone is using them. They should just add an Ultra Rare Oni variant and call it good

nope its op when you have 2+ wasps mowing down the enemy. esp when theres 4-5 wasps spawn trapping in warzone lol.

I think it’s armor needs a buff. I used it on the BTB standoff remake and it can’t stand up to a ghost, or even two spartans can easily bring it down. The main problem seems to be that it’s not accurate at mid to long range but it’s armor is so weak getting up close means quickly being shot down, or finding cover which is difficult on most maps. But your right it shouldn’t be to strong I just think in its current form it’s kinda useless.

It needs a stronger variant at a higher req level

I’ve gone whole games on Firefight with it. Just keep your distance with it and youll be fine. Its a level 3 so its no big deal

A slight armor buff would be nice. Its guns are weak enough that it needs a good second to kill a Spartan. Or maybe a small speed buff so it can zip into cover faster.

  • I think 343i should add some variants as well as the hornet and falcon…along with a spartan ops with an extra story for co op play.

I find it most effective as a hit and run vehicle. Find outside targets, fire the MG, shoot rockets, get the kill, and then bug out. It is really useful in Firefight, and in Warzone it is a good way to stop enemies from advancing and a good distraction .

Well maybe I’ve been using it wrong because it does not function as an offensive vehicle like the Banshee its more of a weak support vehicle. Again the main problem is that flying vehicles attract fire and the wasp can’t take it for more than a second.
