Is the triple double medal stupid?

For those who arent aware, the triple double is awarded when a player earns double digits kills, headshots and assists in a single game. I like the concept of a consistency medal but this just seems ridiculous given that in order to achieve double digit headshots, you have to already have double digit kills. They may as well call it the double double, double headshots and assists. A fix for warzone could be double digit AI kills as well however I have no idea how to fix it for arena. Just seems silly to me.

It would be more fun if it were actually more like basketball - where there’s five areas that you just need to get double digits in three of them.

In basketball, it’s 3/5 double digits in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals.

Only problem is, in Halo there are only a certain amount of scoring categories that you can feasibly acheive double digit numbers of. Kills, headshots, and assists make sense. But what else is there? Everything else is skill medals, and acheiving 10 of them in a game is pretty rare.

I joined a FFA custom with my friend, grabbed a Warthog and splattered one guy…

…I instantly earned the medal without doing any of the kills, headshots or assists.

I think the requirements are different in warzone assault. I think it’s double digit kills, assists, and base kills. I only say that because those are the three things shown on the score board in game. I could be wrong though.

I get triple-doubles semi-often in WZA. It is still kill, assist, headshot which isn’t too difficult in that mode.

I don’t think it is stupid at all.

I think it’s a meaningful medal. It shows that a player is making an all-round effort to win.
