Does anyone else feel like the Thruster Pack is too weak? I’ve been talking about it with a few friends and we feel like it should be a little longer of a thrust, not as long as the Flood get but longer than it currently is.
I find it fine, maybe you’re just not good with it.
I have to agree the thruster pack is weak, it’s my favorite out of the bunch. A little more distance wouldn’t hurt.
It is way too weak. It’s basically a really bulky sidestep that does you no good.
It’s over powered in Flood mode; while conversely it’s too weak in regular playlists.

I find myself in agreement. The thruster pack should be a little longer. With how short it is, its effects can probably be replicated with a grenade launch.
Seriously it needs to be over powered for Spartan Ops. After playing Spartan Ops on solo Legendary on the Challenge, it wouldn’t have hurt to have a AA that let’s you …oh… I don’t know, actually avoid getting a face full of hard light.

Yes but it does allow you to suddenly change direction. As a substitute for evade thruster is a little weak (though I don’t think that’s a bad thing at all. Evade was far too powerful in reach even in light of AL) but it has other more devious uses that IMO compensate for the [righteous] nerfing it recieved.
It’s fine, you just need to use it smartly. As long as you keep close to cover you can keep yourself alive in otherwise certain death situations and it dodges grenades exceptionally well.
Also, try it with the Speed Boost powerup and experiment with gravity lifts - particularly the one on Solace.
There are also a lot of minor, yet useful way you can incorporate a thrust into a strafe to make you come out on top a bit more often.
It’s stupid.
It should get two bursts just like evade did, which was the best old AA imo.
It’s useless as is. It seems like you move just as fast as you do walking (maybe that’s just the camera, though). It shouldn’t be like evade, but c’mon. I wanna go more than two feet, slowly, and with my hitbox staying the same. It doesn’t do anything. You can already avoid grenades just find by walking.
