Just wondering. I haven’t seen any videos of it. I had no clue the Beam Rifle was returning, but just saw it in a gameplay video. So I wanted to ask if i missed the SMG.

Confirmed? :’( I’m not a big fan of the SMG, but I do like to see more weapons returning.

Considering it wasn’t in the UNSC weapons video and 343i said that they aren’t bringing back the SMG or the Plasma Rifle. I’m sure it’s safe to say, that it’s out of the game.
I don’t see why they can’t just include every weapon from the past Halo games and just put them in Halo 4. Just do it.

Balancing issues, repetitiveness, and the 360 may not be able to handle it. Halo 4 already requires 8gb of space on your hard drive and that doesn’t count DLC and other content from the limited edition.

Dude, stop giving people false hope. The game has been in the making for 3 years. This game is pretty much done, it is coming out in two months. Out of the probably 36 months of it being worked on they have 2 months left. Its freaking complete to say the least, just minor but i mean minor details are being worked on. Mass productionm marketing is just left for the final month.

Maybe the SMG will exist as a extra weapon in the forge pallet. We can only hope.

Well, atleast what we know up to now. We know the SMG isn’t in the game.
Well, once they got rid of dual-wielding, there really was no point in having it in anyway honestly. Why use one weak SMG when you can use one AR that’s much more accurate and powerful?
