I’m a few seasons behind on earning all of MCC’s cosmetics, and am curious to know if ranking up past 100 still prevents getting Season Points from being earned (outside of completing challenges with SP rewards). Has the cap been lifted or is it still there? Thanks!
You still only get season points for the first 100 levels unfortunately

Bummer! Hopefully 343 decides to remove that limit at some point, or at least figure out another way to make Season Points a bit easier to earn.

If they do there will be a lot of people who would retroactively get points, so I doubt they will.
Unfortunately, yes. I really hope they get rid of it at some point, as I think it disincentives playing after completing weekly challenges, or bothering to level up. If that gets fixed, double XP weekends would be a cool addition as well.

This cap do still exist and you can still only get for ranking up until you reach level 101. However, the existence of the current season point cap for ranking up won’t present that major problem as the number of levels are limited to 330 and the length of the levels do on average increase which in turn mean that weekly challenges will still remain the most important source for Season Points.
From what I understand it is still the first 100 Ranks.
