Does anyone know if it has been confirmed if the “token” players receive for reaching SR 152 in Halo 5 will be completely unique? I’ve read several things and it seems pretty mixed.
I honestly do not care what the reward is, as long as there is literally no other way to get it. It can be just an emblem or weapon skin for all I care, as long as only players that hit 152 have it. Does anyone else feel this way?
As far as I know, nothing has been officially stated about what the reward will be. I’d assume something along the lines of a unique helmet, but that’s just a guess.
I’m not gonna get 152 before the deadline because I don’t play H5 anyway. But I do agree with you that whatever the reward is, it should be unique and unobtainable any other way.
I’ll never hit 152 because I think the grind required is just unreasonable, but those who do manage to make it to SR152 deserve something more than an emblem or nameplate, maybe a unique piece of armor if not a whole set.
Do you think that 343i ever expected anyone to make SR152?
It’s a huge grind… and if you expected Halo 5 to be a 2-3 year game… I’m not sure how many people would have made it during that time-frame.
Respect to those who did though! (I’m only at 142… so nowhere even near the base-camp of Everest).
Some of the latter events / bonuses have helped people to boost a bit more recently.
And as an aside… if I was making up the SR levels… I would probably have taken them as far as 150 (with the exponential type rises)… but then kept repeating SR150 at the same XP cost. You would then have your SR150x how many times you completed it. Eg. SR150x3

Pretty sure they’ve said on twitter that it won’t be an armour set.
Realistically we’re probably getting an emblem or nameplate.
I’d much prefer something other than that but eh, I’ll take something over nothing
Even farming All Gold crowns in Monsterhunter Wolrd + Iceborne wasn’t as painful as getting sr152.
I’m 145 1/2 and spent already 300 hours into MP. I guess it will take me 900 hours+ to get Sr152.

Yeah I’m fully expecting something small like an emblem or nameplate as well. It might even be just a little icon in our service record, not even an “item” as some people are assuming. I’d be totally fine with even that, just as long as it is exclusive to SR 152. As long as it’s permanent too, of course lol.
