Hi i just made it to Onyx rank in free for all, but i feel i don’t deserve it.
first three matches i did pretty well, i was always the top 3.
But after that i just got wrecked every match. I think 4 or 5 matches i got last place.
and after the 10 matches i got ranked to onyx. Is this how it’s supposed to work? or did i just get incredible lucky?
Also i feel 6 people would be better for free for all instead of 8.
I can’t tell you how much i died in the first 5 seconds of respawning
Same here man i got put in onyx for ffa even though i felt i didnt really deserve it, won my first match, then 3 games was top 3 then the rest was like 4th or 5th. I keep reading its about the players your playing and how highly ranked they are and how well you are performing against them
Ranking system is a joke 
ranking system currently is a nice concept, but thats all it is. its implementation seems to be in shambles ATM
Well for starters… FFA is a joke none the less. But to answer your question. I think it is very fair!! I got placed in gold in slayer and feel like i am right where i need to be. To have fun but also not get stomped. But i am plat 1 in team arena. So it is respectively more frustrating from game to game but i can hold my own there just fine as well. People just need to accept they are better then they thought they were. And enjoy the game for what it is. A competitive shooter
I don’t get it my stats and win/loss are way better than my buddy. Hell we play together and I constantly do better than him yet he was placed diamond team slayer and swat. While I was placed in platinum. Who knows.
Yeah the ranking system is a joke. Why can’t we just go back to the old halo ranking system that everyone loves so much. It’s not my fault if my teammates suck and we lose just as its not my teammates fault if I suck and they lose. Players arnt put in accurate divisions and the players on the teams that are created arnt playing at the same level as each other. Give the rights back to bungie.
