I was hoping I wouldn’t have to make this post, but because of recent events, I feel the need to express what I have seen so far with the new “Fix” for Halo 5’s ranking structure. Yesterday I was looking at the swat leaderboards and came across something very odd. A player known as Joshua Menke only played ten games(the normal placement matches). Menke got 0 kills, and had 185 deaths and placed Champ 1 with 2433 CSR… This doesn’t make any sense. This player also completed his ten placement matches in Elimination and got 0 kills, and had 69 deaths. Menke placed Onyx 1660…
What also erk’s me is that I have been a high champ player in Swat for the past two seasons and I typically placed Onyx 1700. I won all nine of my placement matches against Onyx’s and a couple champs, and I placed Diamond 4… placing Diamond 4 isn’t why I am making this post because I am fine with grinding for my rank. But, what I do have a problem with is players who clearly haven’t earned the rank being given to them and a lot of the players(not just me) are getting ranked significantly lower than we should while other players are receiving champ for doing almost nothing. There are other cases of this occuring, and not just with Menke.
