Now I’m not the type of Halo fan who is obsessed with Blood Gulch/Coagulation/Hemorrhage where everytime a new map is said to be in development they go crazy with “OMG I HOPE ITS BLOOD GUCLH!” I mean I like B.G. and it’s successors and they are greats maps but im not super crazy like that for it.
However looking at the foggy image in this weeks bulletin I feel that it is Blood Gulch.
Why?
Well look at the image, green fields, a grey structure to the left at the bottom of a shallow hill, high cliffs in the background and a shadow of an overhang in the foreground.
Looks like the side of Red base from B.G. to me.
Thoughts?
EDIT: Looking at the picture closer I see what appears to be a grey area in the far cliff, almost looks like a large Forerunner cavern. A new map maybe?
> it actually just looks like brute chopper in a mountainous region
Why would the chopper return? It’s already strange enough the gravity hammer is back when there are no Brutes in Halo 4(Unfortunately…I like Brutes AND Elites)
I don’t think its Blood Gulch itself, rather a map with a similar background and form of design. Maybe 343i used maps like Blood gulch/Beaver Creek for inspiration when designing this map?

That’s old news man, I believe it’s on one of the bulletins but I’m too lazy to look it up.
The reasoning was because: “If you want to play those maps, play those games.” If you can already play a map on the 360, than most likely, it’s not in Halo 4 (So anything Halo 3 and Reach is out).
They have also stated, that Halo 4 will have 10 brand new maps on launch . . . brand new means that this cannot be a map from any of the previous installments . . . so it’s not Blood Gulch or any other iteration of it.
[Sorry if I’m coming off sounding like a -Yoink!- but I’m tired]
