Sure this isn’t something HUGE but it was something that didn’t need to be changed. His voice sounds a bit robotic. It’ll be different from hearing the classic Killing Spree! Or Flag Taken, Flag Dropped, Flag Taken, hahaha. But if anyone knows could they tell me? As with other things i doubt its final, but im really not sure.
It might not be final, but I say it is. It sounds like the Halo: CE announcer. I heard that it’s the same announcer as Reach.

His voice was great in the other Halos I don’t know what happened in this one. Sounds too enthusiastic which I don’t like.
His name is Jeff Steitzer and he’s been the voice in every Halo. He posted on facebook that he had done the voice in Halo 4 as well. I don’t really mind the sound of his voice in this one but i do wish they would of kept him saying “X minutes remaining” instead of “X minutes left”. It’s not really a big change but I think it feels kinda lazy.
I remember reading an article mentioning the same voice announcer returning to the game. Judging from the E3 videos, I’d have to say it sounds just like him.
I hope it’s not final. Nothing sounds right. What really bugs me is when he says “one minute remaining”, then “thirty seconds remain” and then “ten seconds”.
It’s pretty random, I hope none of it is final. They could have just used the audio recordings from Halo Reach, they were perfect. There was no need to change them.
I really like the new one, especially when he says assassination and the multi-kill medals, it’s new and sounds fresh and doesn’t really sound robotic, just more aggressive.
I like the new announcer, he sounds so enthusiastic.

Yeah, the “Overkill!” sound-bite made me laugh so hard when I heard it. XD
By different i didn’t mean a different announcer. I knew it was the same guy as all the games. He just sounds like robotic or something in a way. Not like he does in all the other games. Idk, itll just take some getting used to. its honestly one of the few problems i have with the game. other than that its shaping up to be one of the bests in the series
True. I don’t like his new robotic tone very much, but he also sounded kind of robotic in the original Halo, and I liked his voice in that.
Also, he doesn’t say “Overkill” in the game. He says “HOOOVERKILL!!!”
