Is the Master Chief Collection worth buying?

Just would like to know the general view as to whether it’s worth getting the MCC or not. Would be helpful if you could comment on pros and cons of the remastered versions.
Cheers.

I believe the fact that it has been 11 hours since you posted this, and there has been no response, should be your answer right there. You can make your own conclusion by sifting through this thread.

It really depends on how die hard of a Halo fan you are, because you will be dealing with glitches and negative issues with the game still after all this time. I am still enjoying MCC, but then again I only play Halo 4 MM, and don’t really have a lot of issues with that that some others do. I am talking about disconnected games, and laggy games.

You basically have to decide if you are willing to deal with a lot a issues with the game, and still purchase it. I would say, no, if you are buying an XB1 solely for this game. It will be a disappointment, and you should wait until Halo 5 comes out.

Thanks. I’ll have a better look through this thread then make a decision.

For the campaigns? Absolutely. For the multiplayer? Not so much. Campaign is where its at anyhow, multiplayer has no population display for playlists, and the overall population is abysmal.

Just go back to the 360. It’s better that way. But tmcc is getting better.

Honestly if you want to play the campaigns yes but multiplayer is still not that great there’s hardly any modes to play it’s always the same maps and it’s nothing like you remember it. It will ruin the memories
