The direction 343 is using now is odd compared to what they’ve done in the past.
When halo 5 was released players had to earn they’re armour or purchase it at random with req cards which was a pain but you still had the option to earn your armour through gameplay (the way we always did)
So 343 and M $ have gone in a new (worse) direction where you have to not only purchase the armour but play the game with challenges to recive them (Not sure what goon made that choice but hopefully he/she is gone now 
)
But long time halo vets who saw halo 5 launch and played a long part of it stuck to it and saw and know how it turns out. 343 turns back to the already abandond halo master chief collection and salvage what they could of the failed halo 5.
How ever as every one knows the MCC now known as the heart of the halo universe., way back in 2014 it was a shambles. And was abandond and 343 put all their hopes into halo 5 (which ended up with similar reviews as infinite to this day) so they went back into a broken project and basically used it to regain our trust.
So whats stopping them from doing the exact same thing? As soon as Infinite dies out all they have to do is put a pair of cat ears on noble 6 into MCC and then player’s players will come drewling
