I recently saw the HCS pack go up on the store for 80k RP. Are the contents of this pack worth grinding for, or should I complete my mythics? I’ve almost got all the REQ’s, so going for the gold packs will yield me REQ’s like Argus and Hunter.
Only go for the HCS pack if you’re missing Athlon Champion, the standard HCS emblem, and the nine HCS Contender skins. You’ll have to crack open three HCS packs to get the aforementioned items. Otherwise, keep wailing on those Gold Packs.
EDIT: You will not be able to get the 2016-exclusive Challenger set or the CLG/Allegiance skins. They’re impossible to get now.
I grabbed one for poops and giggles, All I got was five rare arena xp boosts. As HaXoR73 said, If you don’t have any of the HCS stuff, then it is worth it. If you have everything, then don’t.

I already have that set. I got it way back when it was first offered.
I take it this pack is in the in-game REQ store? (Haven’t played today)

I think that would be the case. Wouldn’t make sense if it was only available on Waypoint and not in the in-game store.

Okay, this is weird. I thought I was replying in the other HCS pack thread where he was asking about the Challenger armor. I didn’t see the OP’s post in this one.

I’d suggest getting it now if you intend on unlocking everything you can at some point and/or if you are a completionist. Reason being that you can always grind for req points for gold packs later, but you don’t know when the HCS pack will be back. I personally don’t care for the skins themselves, but I bought a few just for the sake of unlocking the items.

Yes, you will need to buy 3 packs. You have all the right information in the very first response to your question from HaXoR73. So to obtain everything you will spend 240,000 RP’s. If those skins/items appeal to you then it is worth it.

Not sure about that one. I would just plan on buying them all at one time then you don’t have to worry about the order they unlock in.
