I’m close to 120k req points and it wasn’t any easy task racking that many up, for people who have bought it do you think it’s worth it or should I just go ahead and buy 12 gold/24 silver?
It depends on you… are you absolutely dying for some reach stuff? If not stick to the regular packs. You will eventually get the reach stuff… the stuff in the reach pack aren’t exclusive to it.
Keep in mind, I think it takes 4 packs to unlock every REQ in the MoR update. So you’ll only get 1/4th of the reqs for 120k points. I haven’t gotten it because I don’t care to save up that many points, but I DID buy the last update’s special pack and I was rather disappointed. I got the Fireteam Osiris magnum skin and the Spirit of Fire AR skin last update, but those were the only notable ones I got.
No. Buy silver or gold.
If you have everything unlocked before the MoR update dropped, 120k can get you everything if you have everything else unlocked. lol
If you want reach gear and reqs then get the pack, but if not then just buy gold and silver packs.
I’d suggest not even if you are fussed by the reach gear; chances are you don’t want all of it, there’s only one armour set you especially want, and you’re also unlikely to get both pieces inside one pack. So you can expect to be spending at least 240k before you have what you want, worst case scenario 480k. Which in my opinion is much better spent completing silvers and making a big dent in golds (possibly getting what you want along the way anyway, with masses extra to boot)
This is the one pack I’d buy, but I hate the totally random aspect of it. With my luck I’d spend the $15 and get -Yoinking!- emblems.
Try to finish up on the silvers.
No, your probably better of buying the gold packs, sure you won’t get the Halo Reach armor(remember you only get one set), but it will draw you closer to finishing off all your reqs if you buy golds. The only advantage is you get mythic cards, but after 12 gold packs (24-36 unlocks) it really depends.
