Well I say this mainly because that is how I feel the Halo community is toxic, I consider it that way for several reasons one of them is that it does not like the changes I mean that for example, in Halo 3 they implemented an option so that you could not See the new content of Halo 3 and you will stay with the classic and I feel that they implemented it because part of the community did not like these changes and in part I understand not all the changes are for the better and I understand that not everyone will like it , but literally whenever there is a change in Halo an immense discussion starts and that is something that I do not like, second point, several players throw -Yoink- at you if you do not play well or are bad at playing and that is something very, very uncomfortable and not It makes you want to play, I know that this happens in all video games or communities, but of all the games that I’ve played, it happens more in Halo, well those are some points for which I consider that the Halo community is somewhat toxic, many people do not They are like that and they have a good time with those people and that is something that is appreciated in any community.
I feel as though the word “toxic” gets thrown around a lot these days and rather needlessly or dramatically. Those who dislike the new Halo 3 skins can in no way be considered “toxic”. It’s their preference to not have them which is why an option to disable them was also introduced so players can get the best of both worlds.

Well, I respect your opinion about the skins since I know that many people are not going to like what they referred to me with that is that they make a lot of trouble with any change to that I mean.
In all honesty I would say the community as a whole is not toxic only select individuals who ruin it for everyone else. But saying that this is not exclusively a halo issue I find you will have this problem regardless of what franchise it is.

That is what I was referring to but I did not find the words to express it well

It’s fine. I just wanted to summarise it in my own way. But I understand. I’m a lady that likes to use as little words as possible to get my point across.
Well, considering my first ever toxic encounter with a fan was just yesterday (a frequent halowaypoint forumer attempted to bully me for not being formal enough) i dont think the community is that toxic. But i mean, we DID invent tbagging
Its worse then COD, atleast in that game its funny. Getting Teabagged by sweats who have been playing since before Bungie even concieved it is -Yoinking!- annoying.
Every single community has some bad apples, of course the Halo community is going to have its toxicity moments.
Okay, imma sum it up for you,
Reach kids
Clan kids
Bungie stans
CE “puritans”
and trash talkers.

You forgot the people that Crap on Reach 24/7
Define Toxic.
Are we talking about Siege Players toxic?
Or Fortnite Kids toxic?
Or Karen Toxic?
If you are asking this because of the BR Controversy, I wouldn’t say that makes the community as a whole “toxic.” That is like saying democrats or republicans are toxic just because of few of each can’t have a civil debate with one another. It does not represent the whole.
All shooter games have some form of toxic community level of their own, for sure but I think the Halo community really isn’t that bad compared to others
Thats really any multiplayer community

Those people are basically extinct, Reach mostly gets it balls sucked nowadays.
People are “toxic” in every game. Everyone gets cocky and thinks their the best. It’s not an enjoyable experience to say the least. That’s why I recommend playing with like minded people, makes the experience much less aggravating.
I wouldn’t really call them toxic. Like many have said before me its all the clan kids and those that use only armor lock that have some kind of toxicity but not that bad like other games.

Not to mention the “I have a higher KD than you, therefore my opinion matters more than yours X3” kids
As a whole the community seems fine to me, disagreements online hardly qualify as making the whole fanbase toxic imo.
I mean, some are of course. It’s an online game like any other, unfortunately there’s going to be toxic people here and there. I have really noticed more than others but then again I haven’t played that many MP games.
