Is the game type VIP in Halo reach

I was playing a game with my friend and It was VIP. I’m not sure if this was real or modded. I’m bringing this up because for the past two years of playing halo reach i have never noticed that VIP was in it. so can anyone please tell me if VIP is real in Reach

I don’t think it is in. Could be wrong though.

It was real. The gametype exists within Reach, but (along with some action sack gametypes) cannot be accessed through the menus or through Forge. Who knows why Bungie didn’t allow it to be used in the conventional sense.

A bit of supporting proof. The mods seem to be lock-happy lately, but don’t worry. This is a perfectly legitimate gametype.

There is no such thing as a leak for a 2-year-old game.

Yes it exists, but it wasn’t ever meant to be played on a retail console, it is still broken in many aspects, mainly the invisible menu options.

I highly advise not playing it again.

For what reason, exactly?

If you understood how it made its way to retail, you’d know why if you read the rules.

I’m not going to dive into it, but it falls under discussing hacking/modifying an Xbox console.

Now I’m confused.

Those seem slightly contradictory. So is it or is it not legitimate content?

Best we all figure that out now, before the mods swiftly bust in and lock down another thread.

It isn’t legitimate content, it was never intended to be on a retail console for normal players, not at this date at least.
