the primordial was a being that was a grave mind and it was on installation 07 and was a powerful being it made it it’s home technically it was really imprisoned there by the forerunners or the ones that came before so it would make since for them to be there but correct me if i am wrong but wasn’t it stated that there could only be one grave mind so how would they escape from there containment it would require a 2401 penitent tangent job but its all up to opinion so let me know what you think thanks for reading this
“Is the Flood really on Installation 07?”
We have every reason to believe so. The Flood were preserved on the Halos in the hopes that they could be used to create a cure in case the Flood ever returned. None of the Halos were singled out as not having any preserved specimens.
As for your post, could you clarify the question? There’s no punctuation, so it all runs together.
If you’re asking if there’s multiple Graveminds, since their intelligence and power is directly related to their biomass, I believe having multiple Graveminds is less valuable than having one, much larger Gravemind.
Doubtful.
In the book Halo Primordium, it is noted that the Flood had a large presence on what would later be known as Installation 07. Multiple graveminds or maybe it was proto-graveminds were also said to have been on the ring, placed in a type of stasis or something, but after the Protector of the Ecumene: the Iso-Didact rescued the installation. I doubt the Flood and its Graveminds were left on the ring.
100,000 years is a long time.
As stated above, all the rings had Flood specimens for research purposes, so I don’t see why Zeta Halo would be any different. As to multiple graveminds, it’s certainly possible. There’s no limitation I know of that prevents multiple graveminds from forming simultaneously. Though, as also suggested above, the ultimate goal of all the graveminds would be to combine into a single massive gravemind.
You know I’d say I hope not, but we’ve been on 2 Halo Rings where The Flood were locked up, most likely they’ll be on Installation 07 & the others
I dont think so
there can and has been more than one gravemind at a time during the flood and forerunner war it wasvery common but hey were all wiped out when the halos were fired except for one with is the gravemind we know he did later escape by using the unsc ship that the player can see in the cutscene crashed in high charity in the level the gravemind on halo 2
I think it’s very possible that Zeta Halo has Flood in stasis. It’s also stated somewhere that Zeta Halo has zones covered in inert Flood spores. However, I don’t think there is an active infestation on the ring; otherwise, the human presence there would have reported it.
There can be more than one Gravemind. Graveminds can develop independently in separate infestations. However, they all share the same hive mind. So even if multiple Graveminds exist, it’s not like they would each have their own personality. It would be the same hive mind present in different areas.
