Is the development process going change now?
I’m not really sure how 343 has developed halo games before or what really goes into it but I assume the games have been made on PC for xbox/xbox one. Feel free to enlighten me on this.
Now that the games are going to be on PC does it not make more sense to make the games for PC starting with infinite so that they can take advantage of better graphics and higher fps ect. and port them to xbox?
No they have always made games on Xbox only. They use apps like Xbox Code to program and Xbox double D for design etc. You can find these apps in Xbox store. Just plug in your controller and start your dev career. Xbox on!!

You got it twisted. It’s the other way around, but on that one point I can agree on.
Infinite is being developed simultaneously for both platforms, with each version being properly considered for that particular platform.

It just doesn’t make sense cause on a PC you are capable of more. You can make apps on xbox? Can they even make a game engine on a xbox?
I can see where you are coming from, its been xbox only since halo 2 and halo CE for computer didn’t come out so well. That being said a PC is capable of making games I’ve never seen on xbox and would seem to be the more powerful tool in making games so why would you make a game on xbox and put it on PC limiting what PC players can do with it when you can make it on PC optimize it and port it to xbox to meet its specs?
Oh boy I was just screwing around lol if you guys cant see “Xbox double D for design” for instance!! People these days … Of course development is on PCs if you think otherwise may god have mercy xD

Are you trying to say you can make games using an XBOX console? Games are made on PCs XD
