oh no, i don’t think it makes much sense to STAY a gold 1, even though you are getting crushed all day, i am a strong believer of you need to constantly work for your rank, and if you don’t cut in gold, plat or diamond, why do you get to stay there?

no, it isn’t. in every game, other then halo 5. you get placed in a rank bracket, (bronze,sliver,gold,plat,diamond) and you get a number attached to that (1-6). that if you do not preform well, you can go from a gold, back down to sliver, halo 5. locks you in whatever rank bracket you first placed in no matter how bad you are playing. all i am asking if they have fixed that.

for example, if a diamond 1, can not keep up. he will be demoted to plat 6, and so on and so on.

there is no other way to word my question. which has been answered for me

Yes you can go from Champion to Bronze now. They switched it in last update. No fix required.

If you are bottom of gold 1 and lose, your rank will become a silver 6
