Is the Covenant Carbine Any Good?

I haven’t used it yet and I don’t see many people use it. Is it any good compared to the other primary weapons?

I think it’s good but right now DMR is the best weapon in the game until 343i buffs the BR, which they probably wont.

I don’t have the game, but I did see a comparison that showed the Carbine to be the least effective of the four main precision weapons (DMR, BR, Light Rifle and Carbine).

Apparently it just has a longer kill-time than the other three.

It is the weakest of the precision weapons which I think isn’t that balanced n my opinion but I can still use a few combos to get some kills with the carbine

I added it to my load out and tried it a few times, but anyone with a battle riffle or DMR seemed to out gun me. It has no recoil which is my I got it, but to compensate they nerfed the power. I’d wait until you rank up and get the Light Rifle instead.

While I still prefer the Light Rifle and DMR to the Carbine.

I have found the Carbine to be not bad at close to mid range combat (especially if you have Dexterity and Damage boost).

carbine is only as good as your trigger finger.
if you shoot it slow you will loose, shoot it fast even the dmr is your hound
