Halo 5 was a devolution. It was a completely different experience from what Halo fans were expecting. That’s why I don’t like it.

the halo 5 beta was the peek of halo 5 its not my fault you didn’t play it but ill give you a run down on the differences
better sound and graphics
stronger weapons and abilities
the beta is the best version of the game
current halo 5 is way to similar to infinite for 343 to support them at the same time but if they release the halo 5 beta its different enough that you as a play can enjoy both for what they are infinite is an area shooter while halo 5 beta was an arcade shooter
that 7 year gap is void of all the mistakes they made with the game pure halo 5

if you dont ask for if you dont get it, im not crazy im passionate and driven people would actually come back in a big way if they ported the beta version to PC because thats what halo 5 fans want i see it everywhere even you would prefer to see that version of the game
and imagine if later after seeing all the player numbers they work to bring back warzone adding it to that version id would also hope they would retcon the story so your multiplayer spartan would be who you play in the campaign and the armor unlocks would work like halo 3s so you have to earn them
also 65% of the armor would be gone only the good/popular sets would remain
req packs would still be a thing but they only have XP boosts and warzone reqs in them only 10 armor sets would be in them

You don’t need realism to achieve immersion. I reject this notion on its face. It’s about a core gameplay loop that’s fun to play over and over and over. You quoted my statement about gameplay loops and then never addressed the topic. Sprint/slide/clamber could be viewed as more “realistic.” (Even though running around as a 7’ super soldier in a metal space suit fighting aliens isn’t my definition of “realism,” I see your point.) That doesn’t necessarily equate to a more fun or engaging gameplay loop. I don’t think sprint slide clamber makes the halo gameplay loop better. I think what you gain in “realism” you lose (and then some) in the replayability factor.
Just the halo community being the halo community, everyone wants something that someone else doesnt

But regardless…simple question…is it better to not have clamber and have to instead jump and then crouch in the air to overcome a jump to you?
I don’t remember what we originally talked about but this time you mentioned “realism” it isn’t really about realism but about the sorry pathetic personality of these Halo fans.

I’m sorry but if you think tucking your legs to clear a jump is better than adding an animation to bring the game up to date with advancements then I simply can’t respect you as a human.
