Over the past years the Halo community has gotten worse, Yes Halo 5 was -Yoink- at launch but hey there has been countless of updates for free for over a YEAR making the game better and better. Ya i agree there should of been a couple more gamemodes at launch but if you think Halo 5 should of lanuch how it is right now then your completely retarded, No Halo game has launched with all the stuff Halo 5 has right now. Now yes they could of fixed all of the bugs sooner but for some reason they waited till next update and yes the servers are still not as good as should be but since update i haven’t had a problem except 1 or 2. Now for the new Warzone Fireteam size, THERE FIXING IT SO QUIT COMPLAINING YOU DAM FARMERS! Now again about the radar THERE ALSO FIXING IT SO AGAIN QUIT CRYING ABOUT IT, This is just ridiculous, Everybody always has to find a reason to complain at 343 even tho Halo 5 is a really good Halo now with all the updates!

p.s I guarantee theres gonna be that dude that complain about my grammer and -Yoink!- this is not hard to read bro lmao

Oh it’s this thread again. Complaining about all the complaining, real productive. There’s a lot less complaining now then there was in the halo 4 days.

Yah people should know that this is not how halo 5 should’ve launched. It should’ve probably launched at the Hammer Storm update with all the gamemodes in customs.

There’s a difference between complaining and having real concerns/criticism for the game. For instance, slicing the Warzone fireteam limit in half is preventing people like me from playing with all the friends that we used to. It’s not nearly as much fun anymore and for those of us who mostly played Warzone, it is going to drive us away. That is a legitimate concern, because 343’s decision is going to cause the population to drop even more. Also, you complaining about complaining won’t really help anything. Just saying.

While I can agree hearing the complaints over and over is getting old. I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss should H5 have launched this year kind of like it is now or last year like it was. Now I say KIND OF… as they should have had the playlist set up as is, maybe not as many maps or reqs. But at least with a decent forge, BTB as it is and not that forged month later btb, have an action sack and what not it probably would have been WAY better off for Halo population wise. Now don’t get me wrong I have loved playing H5 over the last year but i am a pretty hard core Halo fan. Halo is supposed to be the premier title for Xbox and it did have any wow factor at launch really. Gamers today lose interest really quickly it seems. If you don’t have a good first impression odds are they lose interest quickly. Of course it’s all opinion and subjective on which would have been better for Halo.

Well, it’s obvious people won’t like to wait months or even an entire year for something they believe they should’ve gotten at launch.

Halo 5: G doesn’t have that much game modes and has no game types (variants of existing game modes such as Ninjaball or Team Rockets) which all the past Halo’s had. When it comes to game modes, while Halo 5: G certainly does have a decent number of game modes, most of the existing ones have been in either Halo 3, Halo: Reach and 4 with a bit more, so it’s reasonable to expect things like Infection, Firefight, Forge, Griffball, Assault, Fiesta, Infection, etc to release at launch.

Aside from Forge and Custom Server Browser, ever Halo game launched with most of the things Halo 5: G has at day one.

Firstly, I doubt you have any proof of either of those.

Secondly, would they have gone and fixed such issues had it not been for the criticism of the fans?

Most of the reasons are valid reasons that should be fixed or improved upon. Whether Halo 5: G is a great game or not has nothing to do with the fact that it still has many flaws and thus criticism is created in order for 343i to fix the flaws.

I’d say that most things could’ve been launched at day one excluding Forge, Warzone Firefight some maps and many REQ items. It should’ve launched with Oddball and KOTH too. I mean come on… I’m still waiting for Oddball in matchmaking.

There is no debate that Halo 5 should’ve been in its current state at launch. However the game has greatly improved since launch and the amount of complaining is definitely much less. Most threads now actually have a legit problem rather than pointless whining (like this one).
