The idea popped into my mind when I read the story of ONI replacing the Spartan-II’s with clones. But the clones were around the same age as the real kids. So I wanted to know if the clones are like the same in Star Wars. The clones in Star Wars had rapid aging cells in them and also were like “twins” with Jango Fett.
Nah, they don’t rapidly age.

The Clones in Star Wars were artificially aged to adulthood, and then their aging reverts to normal. This was done with the replacement clones for the S-IIs.
The clones used in Halo are unstable though, and most died much earlier than normal. So the process is somewhat similar I suppose, but for Halo it’s not perfected, at least not Flash cloning.
Well maybe not in this case of the Spartans, looks like they cloned an entire 6 year old body in like under a day to make sure no one even knew they were kidnapped, so that’s why the clones were so prone to disease and died young. I’m sure if they were cloned at the embryo stage they would grow into perfect clones, albeit different personality
Well they seem to also be able to clone body parts.

But I could have sworn those diseases were purposely induced so the parents wouldn’t ever suspect their child was kidnapped. It was done so the parents could just let go and continue living their lives, never knowing the truth.

I’m pretty sure its the cloning part because i’m sure that by cloning a full body with the same knowledge and attributes would be nigh impossible because of the cloning process which is not accurate, not even natural cloning is accurate.

Well it actually developed because of the fast cloning rate. Due to the rapid cloning, a lot of stuff got messed up, such as DNA itself which leads to incorrect proteins being produced and then there’s a bunch of diseases and… You get the point.
They were grown into 6 year-olds fairly quickly, and designed to die quickly from natural causes.
Halo’s tech has the advancement to clone certain parts–organs, extremities, etc–but not whole human bodies, at least not lasting ones. The flash clones typically died of organ failure shortly after they replaced the Spartan candidates.
