Be careful not to idolize Bungie too much, now. They made Reach, which is widely considered (not unanimously considered - don’t jump down my throat!) the worst shooter thus far in the Halo franchise. Also, Bungie is essentially soulless when it comes to its story/culture. We don’t need them back, nor should we want them. We need 343 to be better. Glad it’s not happening.
Wow some people will believe anything.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Microsoft purchased Bungie, however, I don’t think that they would bring them back to make Halo. The only way that Bungie is going to consent is if they are allowed creative freedom to keep making game that are not Halo.

Ya and destiny was pretty bad to. I couldn’t see bungie coming back and i don’t want bungie back. I think 343 is on the right track so far with halo5.

Just because you say “not unanimously considered - don’t jump down my throat” – doesn’t mean people will.
A lot of people had no problems with the game, myself included. It included the best forge AND custom games, best for Machinima and a vast (not saying cannon) campaign. I have more quarrels with Halo 4 if anything but I won’t go into detail on that because they are both decent Halo games.
Heck no, RTU is an idiot, wouldn’t believe his click bait videos for a second. I would welcome Bungie coming back, but it’s extremely unlikely for a multitude of reasons.
This story seems interesting. I’m must say I’m intrigued as to what will happen, if this turns out to be true.

Why would you want Bungie back? Yeah in the past they’ve done great things. But their last halo game was Reach which had a really bad campaign and a questionable multiplayer(armor lock, sprint, bloom) and their last game was Destiny which has numerous design flaws.

Yet Reach held up WAY better than 4. I’ll take Bungie who can actually make it feel like Halo rather than the soulless, non transparent, least communicative industry we have now.

I agree with this, Destiny will go down as my biggest disappointment game wise, and reach was not the best multiplayer wise. I did like the single player for it though. Bungee is not the same group they once were. Many of the people that made them great are now gone.
Hope this is the case PLEASE SOMEONE GET 343 <–G A Y OUT and GET BUNGIE WHO ACTUALLY LISTENED TO THEIR CUSTOMERS BACK IN. I would Buy H5 if Bungie Made it and they got rid of -Yoink- 343!!!

We will all know in time, I have mixed feelings of if I think they should come back to halo or not though.
