Is the battle rifle changing in the next halo or something like that?
No, it will still be a 4-shot precision weapon.
Do you mean hitscan or spread…? If so we don’t know yet.
The only change we know of so far is the appearance. Instead of the Scope, We are getting a Red Dot Sight.
I’m totally dig it, As red dot sights looks awesome on the SMG in ODST, So the BR might have the same treatment.

Honestly, the BR is the last gun 343i would want to change again. Remember when it was a 5sk in Halo 4? People hated it. If they intend on changing anything with regards to how the BR functions, they’re going to get a lot of backlash.

Actually, I just thought of something regarding the RDS and the M7S SMG, if it’s a bit spotty. I remember that the Battle Rifle had an auto-mode… What if it became the second automatic scoped weapon in Halo?
I’m sure it’ll be alright either way, aesthetic changes only though please! I just hope that the BR sounds more like an actual gun this time around…

I honestly want its design to go back. I would prefer it to be black again and to have a circular scope.
4 shot kill with a scope like in h2. I hope there isn’t any unlocking of weapon features.
While nothing’s been confirmed yet, to my knowledge, I highly doubt that they’ll change it much. When it was switched to a 5-shot instead of a 4-shot in Halo 4, the community rose up in outrage. I don’t think they’ll risk doing that again.
I wouldn’t mind an aesthetic change.
