This has been covered extensively on the forums already.
Sign up to Halo Insider and fill all the forms out honestly. 343 will eventually start a flight, getting picked is luck of the draw.

They’ve been telling us how to get invited like once or twice every few days on Twitter. Just sign up for Insider then cross your fingers. Being a part of Halo 3’s testing is irrelevant though.
Beta will be closed, but signing up is pretty easy. The important thing is to make sure your account and email are verified with green checkmarks. and you’re signed up to receive email updates / invites.
