People would easily pay double for double its content. It is clearly far and away a better deal than anything in the store individually is. There have to be way more people buying the battlepass than are buying store content.
So why did we get a gutted BP for only $10? If the content was predominantly in the BP, I feel there is so much more money to be made on the majority buying that than the few buying shop items. And $20 is still a steal for a BP with twice as much content.
So unless they’re losing money on the BP or it simply is a bad deal for them, I am curious as to why the shop is such a mess. A $20 BP with $5-$10 armor sets would have FAR less backlash, and probably make far more money, as many who won’t touch a $20 armor set would buy a $5 one.
It just seems like a strange strategic decision. It would be nice to know how the financials look.
