Every time I played MP every yses the magnum for uts 5 shot kill. When you use the AR the magnum seems to win in a fight even with controlled bursts does it need to get buffed? Or it just me?
AR I believe has better distance than the magnum.

No the AR does not need a buff. It’s a great weapon for close range when you can’t be bothered to take effort in aiming.

no, the pistol can be used at long range, thats my isue with the pistol, the AR is only good at close to mid range
AR is too good IMO.
AR should never beat the pistol if the pistols aim is good.
Naw the AR feels fine.
AR is decent, especially for a starting weapon. I don’t think it needs any sort of buff. Giving everyone an AR and Magnum in Warzone at the start seems to be very fair.

Well, compared to the SMG, the AR is worthless. Once the SMG gets opened up, no one uses the AR, unless the have the energy bayonet attachment for melee kills. Otherwise, in a shootout between the two weapons, the SMG always dominates over the AR. The AR should actually be superior in terms of range and damage. However, the SMG not only matches the AR in terms of range but leaves it eating dust in the damage race, pumping out at least 2x the damage in half the amount of time due to its insane rate of fire. So, yes, the AR is essentially useless compared to the SMG and needs at least a beefing up to it’s damage to match the SMG. The SMG needs its effective range brought down some to balance out its rate of fire and damage.

SMG is supposed to beat an ar, just like a br should beat a pistol, this is why these are not starting weapons. Why not make one gun that shoots purple -Yoinks!- and then no matter what everyone will have the same -Yoink- gun and no single -Yoink- gun will be in any way superior to any other -Yoink- gun.
Some actually complain that the ar is overpowered. You should only really use it when going around a corner and you know an enemy is there. This game is perfectly balanced. And I mean PERFECTLY.
The AR is in a very good position right now… it definitely has it’s uses. It’s meant to overwhelm at close range and the magnum is for mid range fights. I still use the AR at times, if I know someone is coming around the corner or if I want to help break shields fast for my team to clean up the kills. It’s not overpowered and it’s not underpowered, it’s damn near perfect.

I agree with you mate but the AR is the same just the shot count has been boosted so the AR can get more kills than just for busting sheilds.
I agree it’s under powered I’m tired of using a sidearm as ap primary weapon to get a kill from a distance without being outgunned
I think it works perfectly. No need for nerfs nor buffs.

No headshot multiplier on the AR so that is not great advice
