Can 343 get someone to remove the hacks from the game, there is a hack going around and im seeing more and more people use it, the games have even become slow now because they can see were you are and only shoot from far away and when you have os they wait til its gone. Ive seen a pro got one of these hackers and was even changing his gamertag mid game to racist names, and if it wasnt for that pro catching the hack on stream someone like me would be told you just suck etc.
With 343’s efficiency, it is a big problem for them to develop a mature anti-cheating system by February. I expect that we will get an anti-cheating system provided by the third branch by then.
If it gets worse, maybe we’ll just get an in-game report button, although that’s progress.
In fact, there is a very simple way to do, just cancel the cross-play, Let players choose how to play
Just like their UI, its gonna be a pain to implement things like a reporting system to somewhat help report hackers/cheaters. Just like you said, they can change their names which will make it hard to track players. This being a F2P game also opens the door of IF the said hacker gets banned, they just go make a new account. Such is one of the many flaws of F2P games.
Basically there isnt much they can do other than make cheating/hacking more of a pain and implement a report system (that most likely wont do anything).
